Upsher-Smith, a Maple Grove, MN based specialty pharmaceutical company, acquired UK based Proximagen (AIM: PRX), a European biotechnology company focused on the development and commercialization of novel therapeutics for diseases of the central nervous system (CNS) and inflammation. The acquisition provides Upsher-Smith with a robust research and development platform for future growth.
