Tamarack Partners advised Dependable Home Health Care—a leading caregiver service for individuals with disabilities—on its sale to TEAM Services Group, a portfolio company of Alpine Investors. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Dependable Home Health Care, based in Saint Paul, MN, provides services to individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities. Founded in 1991 by Sarah and Isaac Mensah, parents to their autistic son, Dependable grew from a Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to a 245D-HCBS licensed provider serving around 300 individuals in Minneapolis-St. Paul. The founders’ commitment to patient choice has earned Dependable its reputation among advocacy organizations, academic institutions, social workers and the families it serves as one of the top regional caregiver services.
TEAM Public Choices, a division of TEAM Services Group, is a leading facilitator of caregiver supports for people with disabilities and the elderly, with an emphasis on empowering self-direction and consumer choice.
