Tonka Bay Equity Partners, a Minnetonka, MN based private equity firm that acquires and invests in growth-oriented businesses in the highly-engineered manufacturing, business services and value-added distribution sectors, acquired St. Paul, MN based Aero Systems Engineering, a worldwide leader in wind tunnel and jet engine testing facilities. The partnership positioned Tonka Bay to capture a significant share of the overall resurgence in the commercial aerospace industry and the perpetual development of new, more efficient aerodynamic air frames.
